Britain's Biggest Family-Run Theme Park packs over 100 rides and attractions, shows and entertainment into a glorious Staffordshire park to create an award-winning adrenaline-filled day out.
Thrill seekers are invited to take the flight of their life on Apocalypse, the World's first stand-up Tower Drop, experience life on the wild seas on board Stormforce 10, travel beyond the limit on Maelstrom, the UK's latest Gyro-swing attraction, or brave Shockwave, Europe's only stand-up Rollercoaster.
Wet-knuckle adventurers can shoot the rapids down Splash Canyon before taking a relaxing stroll down Fisherman's Wharf, or plunge into a battle for the high seas on Captain Blood's ship in the Pirate Adventure.
Younger visitors are welcome at Robinsons Land, a pint-sized adventure zone with a dozen rides designed for children. Our cuddly guard dogs, Fruit and Shoot are on parade to greet guests and help them aboard some of the craziest small rides in the kingdom.
Internal Transportation Systems include the Lakeland Cable Car and two Miniature Trains that travel around Splash Canyon and down to the Zoo. The Drayton Zoo is home to over 1000 animals, reptiles, and exotic birds. Come face to face with the big cats and birds of prey. Adopted an Animal scheme available. (New for 2002) The Rainforest Restaurant opens Summer 2002.
With over 90 rides and attractions still to mention, a visit to Staffordshire's Premier Family Theme Park satisfies even the most demanding appetite. Second day tickets are available at a reduced rate during your visit.
Operating Times
Park gates open 9.00am. Rides from 10.30am to 5/6/7pm depending on the time of year. (Please note that ride queues may close earlier).
Drayton Manor is open from Mid March until the beginning of November every year. The park is closed on Mondays and Tuesdays in October until half term and then operates daily until the beginning of November.

The Winter Season
During December Drayton Manor is transformed into a Winter Wonderland. Attractions include a live show in the Drayton Soundstage Theatre, Zoo, grotto and a range of popular theme park rides and attractions. Special prices apply.
The Drayton Zoo is open throughout the winter (reduced admission price).
Prices (2002)
Combined Admission and "Unlimited" Rides Wristband from £15.00 to £17.50 per adult (14 years or over) depending on the time of year. Children £11.00 - £13.50, Children under 900mm tall free. Discounts available for pre-booked parties, Coach Passengers, school visits, Students.

Guests can choose to purchase "admission only" passes and then purchase wristbands on park.
In 2003 prices may change. Please check with the Park after October 2002.
Catering and Retail
Drayton Manor has a wide variety of themed restaurants, cafes, snack kiosks and shops throughout the park. Season passes and "Day Two" tickets are available from the Guest Services Office located alongside the Zoo entrance.

New Attractions Planned for the Future:
Drayton Manor has just received planning permission for a large on-site Hotel. Construction will begin in the near future.
New for 2003: Deep beneath the Drayton Lake a magical underwater city has been uncovered. The waves will be parted in 2003 when "Project Neptune", a multi-million pound state-of-the-art ride opens to the public. Special commemorative T Shirts and VIP passes will be available via the web site from August 1st 2002.
